  1. Hey, didn't we take oil painting together like 10 years ago in Trish's class? Your new stuff is so awesome, especially the one on clay board!

  2. Hi Hannah, thanks. That's so crazy that you remembered me from looking at my work now. How did you find me here. I'm trying to remember you better (I'm not great with names) remind me some of the paintings you did back then at Trish.

  3. I added Trish on linkedin, and she added a few of her old students like Matt and Tori, so I added them. So then I was wondering what everyone from art class back then was doing now, so I google searched "becca Trish Mayberry" and your orca pic came up with your full name, which I then searched and was able to find a few blogs and a deviantART profile (which had your orca pic on it, which was the only one I recognized). This had the same art that was on the DeviantART profile, so I assumed it was you. I have some of my old paintings up here: http://rusaiji.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=48, but I really don't use my deviantART anymore, so I mostly post on my tumblr now (which has my self portrait on it if you scroll down enough): http://thehannahblog.tumblr.com/ .

  4. That's Awesome Hannah. I've done that too before, started trying to find old art buddies from back in the day to see if they are still making art and what it's like now. I love your self portrait, it's beautiful. And that's so cool that you managed to connect with Trish and some of the other people we were in class with. Did you end up getting an art degree, or did you go another wrought.

  5. Thanks. No I actually just got my degree in electrical engineering last year, and I'm about to get my masters degree in electrical engineering (with a focus on radio frequency analog circuit design) at the end of this quarter. How are things with you?

  6. hey Becca, this is Benjamin Rogers checking in, the work on the clay board is by far your best work. the reason is that A) the drawing is accurate B) the values are correct. the stomach area and her arm are beautiful. make sure that your paying close close attention to value. really glad to see you're still painting
